Bob Bruer is a Missouri native, raised here and educated in Springfield and the University of Missouri. He has practiced for 38 years, primarily in Springfield, and now splits his time between Springfield and Kansas City. Bob’s passion is in helping individuals who have been injured and damaged through the claim and litigation process. Bob has been active for many years in the leadership of the 1,400-member Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA); he served as president of the organization in 1994-95.
John Wooddell, an Arkansas native, has practiced in Springfield for 30 years. He has a proven record as a successful trial lawyer. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has received the Thomas G. Strong Trial Attorney Award, presented to one Missouri attorney each year on the basis of character and courtroom success. He is active in the state trial lawyer’s association and serves on MATA’s Board of Governors.
Steven Harrell, an Arkansas native, has practiced in Springfield since 1986. He has successfully prosecuted personal injury and wrongful death cases involving products liability, semi-truck wrecks, auto accidents, premises liability and medical negligence claims. He has also represented clients in commercial litigation and works with other firms on mass tort and class action suits. Since 2005, he has been recognized by peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America publication. Steven has been a member of MATA and served on the Board of Governors from 2004 through 2007.
Rob Bruer has practiced in Kansas City, Missouri since 1995. Rob was a Curators’ Scholar at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and the Associate Managing Editor of the Missouri Law Review at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. Rob has developed his expertise in all fields of civil litigation, serving as lead counsel in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout Missouri, Kansas, and across the country. Rob is a member of MATA and serves on the Board of Governors.
