For the first 2 years of his practice, Adam worked as a defense attorney with a national practice; there, he served as lead counsel in cases involving product failures and personal injury.  His move to Bruer & Wooddell allowed him to represent individuals and families in these matters, rather than the defendant corporations.  Adam's practice has included all aspects of civil litigation, serving as lead counsel in cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, products liability, nursing home negligence, and medical device failure.      

Adam is admitted to practice before all Missouri courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri
